Thinking, planning and acting strategically
My Technical Leadership project was around the introduction of electronic communication and learning management at Harrisfield PS. This link takes you to my report of the project and its outcomes. It identifies how very important knowing the people in your team is. How developing good relationships and listening closely to others can underpin the decisions you make about what is important, what is possible and how everyone can contribute to achieve great outcomes when they can see the vision, have the skills and resources and have a plan to follow.

Differentiated Mathematics in primary and secondary contexts.
As part of my Intel Master Training I developed a u nit on Multiplication for Middle and Upper Primary that integrated English and mathematics, allowed for a differentiation of the maths according to student progress, and involved individual goal setting and use of ICT. It is based around the book "Anno's Multiplying Jar" by Mitsumo Anno.

While working as cluster educator I jointly planned and delivered a unit on Cartesian Plane Geometry for years 7-9 at Berwick Secondary College. All maths classes presented the unit that involved a pre-test, individual goal setting within the VELS framework(level 4-6) and a range of activities to assist students to reach the level they were aiming for, all available through a website allowing anywhere anytime access.
